Graduate Profiles: Jayden

We have some incredible high school graduates in our programs and we are excited to highlight them here this summer! First up is Jayden from our ASPIRE after-school program. Jayden has been in the ASPIRE program since 6th grade and attributes much of his success to the support he received from the program. Jayden recalls a time when ASPIRE helped to pair him with a senior in the same field who helped him to learn Python, a high-level programming language. According to Jayden, this support stretched far beyond the classroom as he was able to find a job, develop relationships, and explore scholarship opportunities. “I met some of my best friends here,” he said. Jayden said he is very excited to explore beyond Norwalk but will never forget the memories he made and the people who helped to create those memories. Next year Jayden will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he plans to study computer science and cybersecurity while following his dream of becoming a software engineer. Congratulations Jayden!
