Volunteer


Women interested in becoming members of Minks to Sinks, the Wilton committee of the Family & Children's Agency (FCA), and supporting the objectives of FCA, are encouraged to speak to current members about membership procedures. Any prospective member must be current resident of the town of Wilton and must be proposed to the Executive Committee by a current member and seconded by a second current member.


Incoming members will be considered provisional members until they have completed:

  • Thirty-two hours of service (16 hours per sale per year, of which at least 4 hours are to worked on a Saturday or Sunday of the sale)
  • Attendance at an orientation meeting
  • Attendance at a minimum of one of three yearly Auxiliary meetings
  • Work two pre-consignments (if the need arises)
  • Have received approval of the Executive Committee

 

Regular members will be required to fulfill the following:

  • Serving a minimum of 32 hours service (16 per sale per year)
  • At least 4 hours are to be worked on a Saturday or Sunday of the sale
  • Attendance at a minimum of one of the three yearly Auxiliary meetings
  • Work two pre-consignments if the need arises
