I appreciate my caregiver and everything that she does, and she helps me a lot. I also like the nurse who visits once a month. I am very happy with the services I am being provided.

- FCA Home Care Client

Family & Children’s Agency is your trusted Fairfield County nonprofit for senior care. We offer a spectrum of care to allow seniors the ability to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Both the physical limitations of aging and the increasing impact of medical conditions play a decisive role in whether a senior can age successfully at home. Our services, which range from having the security of a Personal Alert button to having a full-time, live-in home health aide, allow seniors to retain their independence throughout the aging process. Other services include short-term home health aides, homemaking services, assisted transportation, caregiver support and social work services.

We provide high-quality senior care at an affordable price. Family & Children's Agency's Home Care program is part of a larger non-profit human service organization and our knowledge of how to help seniors in Fairfield County, resources, and one-on-one care is unparalleled.

We provide professional quality care to our clients by offering:

  • Availability 24-hours a day, seven days a week
  • Client monitoring by a Registered Nurse Supervisor
  • Case management by a Licensed Social Worker
  • State, national, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as drug clearance on all caregivers
  • Annual employee training on national senior caregiver quality and standards

We offer competitive pricing with quality care. State grant funds and fee assistance may be available for all Home Care services. Contact us to receive more information on our competitive pricing.

Meet the Home Care Team

Family & Children's Agency's Home Care team includes an office staff of 10 and nearly 70 professional caregivers who are in the community working directly with seniors. These caregivers are supervised by office staff and receive Home Care Orientation, as well as a 12 hours of annual mandatory training. Meet some of the staff who make up FCA Home Care’s team of knowledgeable and caring individuals:

Ligia Masilamani has a Masters in Public Health and has worked at FCA for more than 15 years.
